The Administrative Graduate Assistant (AGA) will work under the direction and supervision of the assigned Director within The Graduate School. This role requires presence at all necessary departmental and Graduate School events, attendance at all Orientations and training sessions, and adherence to The Graduate School Honor Code and Graduate Assistantship Handbook. The AGA will assist the department with miscellaneous administrative tasks, projects, and other responsibilities. Key duties include collecting, organizing, and analyzing data related to academic programs and institutional reports using spreadsheet software or databases. The position also involves conducting research on best practices in higher education, program assessment, and accreditation, as well as reviewing and updating policies and procedures. The AGA will support data collection and material preparation for institutional reporting, accreditation, and program reviews, and assist with faculty-related matters. Collaboration with other graduate assistants, staff, faculty, and departments across the university is expected. Handling sensitive information with discretion and maintaining confidentiality are crucial. The role requires strict adherence to Liberty University policies and representing the University in an exemplary manner, working effectively as a team member and embracing LU’s mission.
