About The Position

This fellowship offers the opportunity to gain executive exposure by attending meetings within the first few months to learn about different services and departments within Sheppard Pratt. Fellows will expand into their own areas of interest and attend regular check-in meetings with the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Operating Officer of Hospitals, and the Chief Strategy Officer. Fellows will also complete projects spanning different service lines across the care continuum and various business departments, aiming to finish the fellowship with a portfolio of deliverables. The position is primarily in-person at the Sheppard Pratt campus in Towson, MD.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, MHSA, MPH, or other related fields).
  • Candidates on schedule to receive a master’s degree upon completion of a fellowship are also eligible.
  • Degree conferral is not required for this position.
  • Master’s degree from an accredited graduate program.
  • Current students in master's programs available to start full-time in June 2027.
  • Candidates may have graduated less than one year prior to the start date (June 2027).
  • Relevant healthcare industry experience (prior work experience, internship, externship, etc.).
  • Knowledge of health care management, such as hospital and health system operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management (CAHME) is preferred.

Responsibilities
