About The Position

Under the supervision of the CEO, performs a wide variety of administrative duties in support of department and hospital operations.

Requirements

  • Recent or expected graduation with a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a healthcare concentration, or Master of Public Health (MPH).
  • Academic or professional background demonstrating an understanding of health industry trends and integrated delivery systems.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, strong communication, relationship-building, and self-motivation.
  • Verbal and writing ability required to communicate effectively in informing employees of activities and policies.
  • Numerical ability required.
  • Ability to receive, comprehend, and carry out instructions.
  • Ability to work safely with equipment, supplies, and materials.
  • Ability to comply with attendance requirements.
  • Ability to comply with Human Resource policies.
  • Manage anger, fear, hostility, and stress appropriately.
  • Work alone and with others effectively.
  • Handle multiple priorities and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Performs administrative duties for C-Suite leaders.
  • Schedules and coordinates meeting events, interviews, appointments and other similar activities.
  • Composes correspondence, memos, and reports, as instructed. Using word processor, types, formats, edits, and proofreads variety of material, including correspondence, memos, reports, charts, statistics and minutes.
  • Compiles and creates Excel reports from database and existing records.
  • Prepares or assists with the preparation of scheduled and/or ad hoc statistical and narrative reports; performs basic information gathering and analysis as specifically directed.
  • Creates draft PowerPoint presentations as directed by management and modifies and edits as required.
  • Project Management, lead and assist with projects and operational improvements across all service lines.
  • Performs a range of staff and/or operational support activities; serves as a liaison with other departments and operating units in the resolution of day-to-day administrative and operational problems.
  • Supports management actions.
  • Attends all required department-specific education and training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to department safety and specific job-related hazards.
  • Wears proper identification while on duty.
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
