Provides administrative and operations support to the Disparities Solutions Center (www.mghdisparitiessolutions.org). The Disparities Solutions Center (DSC) is dedicated to the development and implementation of strategies that advance policy and practice to improve quality, eliminate racial and ethnic disparities, and achieve equity in health care. This position provides direct administrative support to the director and other Center staff on an ongoing basis. Maintains an efficient and welcoming environment, and serves as the first point of contact for individuals and organizations working to reduce racial/ethnic disparities in health care. The candidate must demonstrate strong organizational, administrative, and oral and written communication skills, with a strong interest in public health and/or racial and ethnic disparities. This position is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the executive and management teams. This role involves managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and performing various clerical duties. The position is critical in ensuring efficient office operations and may also lead junior administrative staff.
