About The Position

The Administrative Coordinator for the Behavioral Health Service Line (BHSL) Center for Addiction Services and Treatment (CAST) clinic provides a broad range of activities that are critical to the functioning and continued growth of the Medication Assisted Treatment Recovery Initiative for Arkansas Rural Communities (MATRIARC) program. The Administrative Coordinator provides support to CAST clinic and MATRIARC program in the areas of administration and procurement, marketing, education, and special events. This support ensures day-to-day operations are seamless for the state’s MATRIARC Program Director, the MATRIARC Community Engagement and Outreach Program Coordinator, the Arkansas Department of Human Services, the State Opioid Response Project Director, the State Opioid Response (SOR) grant recipients, and providers of Medication for Opioid Use Disorder throughout the state of Arkansas. The coordinator must have the ability to set goals, prioritize competing demands, and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel. This position requires a wide degree of judgment and attention to detail to successfully enact its responsibilities. The BHSL CAST clinic is located in the Psychiatric Research Institute building on the main UAMS campus.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED plus six (6) years of administrative/administrative support experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Administration, or related plus two (2) years of administrative/administrative support experience
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Responsibilities
