In this role, you will play a key part in the Operation of our Thin Film Department. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled professionals, leverage advanced technologies, and contribute to the success of Raytheon ELCAN.

Requirements

  • Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Basic computer literacy and confidence using technology
  • Proven ability to solve technical problems and make sound decisions
  • Highly motivated with a demonstrated positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and acquire knowledge/understanding through study, instruction or experience

Responsibilities

  • Optics inspection as per MIL,ISO,DIN specifications
  • Parts receiving from various cost centers.
  • Parts delivery to next operations.
  • Witness pieces administration including sorting, creating rework orders for witness pieces.
  • Scrap and rework coordination.
  • Working with Supervisor and planer on rework orders.
  • IIR submission to next operations
  • Parts inventory(weekly parts allocations and count)
  • Perform data entry and computer work, LN,ERKS
  • Collaborate with cross functional team including Engineering &Planners
  • Computer skills including Product Center, Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Hands on work that requires good hand dexterity and organized work habits
