About The Position

Missouri Baptist Medical Center is seeking an Administrative Coordinator for the Outpatient Services Team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within the outpatient services and may have some administrative responsibilities for the OR Team. The Outpatient Services department is responsible for the scheduling and registration of patients receiving outpatient treatment or diagnostics at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Missouri Baptist is the first and only hospital in St. Louis County to be named a Magnet® hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The prestigious designation is the highest credential a health care organization can receive for nursing excellence and quality patient care. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years of experience
• No Supervisor Experience

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in pre-op testing scheduling or surgery scheduling is a plus!
• Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

• Patient scheduling for the pre-anesthesia testing clinic
• Chart assembly for the Operating Room for day of surgery
• Setting up interpretive services as needed
• Coordination of office supplies
• Types and distributes memos, correspondence and reports and composes documents as needed.
• Schedules meetings and appointments, routes correspondence.
• Provides support to office assistants as assigned.
