About The Position

The Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology within the Department of Anesthesiology at Washington University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Administrative Coordinator II. This role is crucial for the success of a dedicated team of 34 Pediatric Anesthesiologists, 28 CRNAs, 2 Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellows, 5 Nurse Practitioners, and 4 Administrators who provide clinical care at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, the Shriners Hospital for Children, and the Children’s Specialty Care Centers. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is detail-oriented, and works congenially with peers.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Manages creation and distribution of monthly faculty call schedule while working closely with our Clinical Director and Assistant Clinical Director.
  • Manages multiple reports for equal call distribution.
  • Manages UKG scheduling software and providers’ access.
  • Supports Division Administrator with day-to-day scheduling reporting.
  • Supports Division Administrator with onboarding new faculty, CRNAs, and staff.
  • Supports clinical director and the St. Louis Children’s Hospital perioperative medical director by providing necessary support and coordination for schedules, appointments, lectures/meetings.
  • Helps with creation and distribution of daily schedule in operating room and non-operative sites as well as recruiting faculty and CRNAs during staffing shortages.
  • Answers incoming calls to the Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology main number and routes appropriately or provides information in accordance with organizational policy.
  • Oversees duties and personnel related to mail delivery and pick-up for the Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology.
  • Shares in ordering and delivery of supplies and lab coats (with appropriate fund allocation) for the Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology.
  • Handles facility management (coffee machine, water machine, paper, supplies, division lunches).
