About The Position

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking pediatric-trained anesthesiologists to join their general anesthesiology staff. This role involves providing anesthesia care for children undergoing surgical procedures and diagnostic/interventional procedures outside the OR environment at the Children's AMBH campus. The position also includes providing anesthesia services at one of Children's ambulatory surgical centers. Care is delivered using an anesthesia team model, which includes pediatric anesthesiology fellows, anesthesiology residents, and anesthetists. Teaching and research are integral to the mission, and the ideal candidate will contribute to these areas. The program features an ACGME-accredited pediatric anesthesiology fellowship. Collaboration with Emory School of Medicine, Rollins School of Public Health, Georgia Institute of Technology, and the Centers for Disease Control fosters research and teaching activities. This position includes an academic appointment with Emory University School of Medicine, with rank determined by experience. Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology is required. Children's is a leading pediatric healthcare system in Georgia and is undergoing significant expansion. Responsibilities
