The Administrative Coordinator, Charter Academy is a 12-month professional position with an anticipated start date of August, 2026, but a different start date may be negotiated. The successful candidate will coordinate various aspects of the Charter Academy, to include student admissions, registration, maintenance of student records, document management, and policies and procedures. This position performs public-facing customer service and duties that require an extensive working knowledge of the Academy. The Administrative Coordinator provides a wide latitude of administrative and secretarial support in the management of the Charter Academy. This position reports to the Dean and Principal, Charter Academy.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an institution that holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College with a bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Professional (including Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) in a networked office setting.
  • Successful results of a criminal background check.
  • Meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations.
  • Meet employment eligibility requirements per §1012.32(2)(b)(1) for charter school personnel.
  • Disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in an administrative role in a K-12, college, or university setting.
  • Experience working as a member of a team with minimum supervision.
