About The Position

The mission of the LPC Board of Examiners is to protect the public interest by regulating the practice of mental health counseling, the practice of marriage and family therapy, and the use of the titles of Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or any similar term, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), and Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT). As an Administrative Coordinator 3, you'll help create a positive first impression for every person who walks through our doors. This role contributes to team effort and protection of the public in a meaningful, professional, and appropriate manner. Requirements

  • Two years of experience in administrative services
  • Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, order, and verify receipt of supplies and office equipment
  • Process and sort mail for staff
  • Implement and maintain office procedures
  • Ensure database, website, and files are updated with current information for licensees/provisional licenses
  • Process teletherapy certification
  • Provide the examination code to individuals requesting to take the national exam
  • Assist the credentialing Specialist and the Executive Director as needed
