About The Position

BlackRock Investment Institute (BII) is seeking an Administrative Business Partner to support senior members of the team and drive key team activities, deliverables, and events. The ideal candidate will have significant experience supporting senior management in a fast-paced global financial services firm, along with project management experience. This role requires someone enthusiastic, discreet, efficient, detail-oriented, positive, and proactive, who can manage key stakeholders with tact and purpose. A team player who is resourceful, organized, professional, and communicative is essential.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of administrative experience, preferably at a large global organization in the financial services industry.
  • Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Experience and proficiency working with automated expense tracking, online travel, and similar systems.
  • Excellent strategic, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong time management skills; ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments with a high degree of accuracy and meet deadlines.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information in all aspects of work.
  • Ability and willingness to work independently, while seeking guidance when appropriate, in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily calendars for senior team members, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving abilities to adjust or prioritize schedules based on last-minute changes.
  • Arrange and reserve conference rooms, catering, audio/video, and other services as needed for meetings and conferences.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and submit expense reports efficiently using Concur.
  • Drive key team activities and events, such as team meetings, strategy sessions, and conferences, including ordering supplies.
  • Handle tasks proactively and efficiently to ensure seamless coverage for all supported staff.
  • Assist the team in managing and driving projects, ensuring deliverables are met by agreed-upon timelines.
