About The Position

This is a temporary Administrative Associate I position located at 610 E Center Avenue, Mooresville - Iredell County, with the Department of Environmental Quality. The role is part of the Office of State Human Resources Division Temporary Solutions, which aims to provide a solid Human Resource management foundation, responsible oversight, and creative solutions. As a temporary position, it does not offer leave or retirement benefits. However, temporary employees working an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). Permanent and time-limited NC State Government employees must separate from their current positions to work in a temporary role, and all temporary employees are limited to one NC State Government temporary assignment at a time. The position supports the Governor's Job Ready initiative, offering an opportunity to expand skill sets and gain valuable experience within a state agency, potentially leading to permanent employment.

Requirements

  • High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
