About The Position

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Plymouth team! You will support the Plant Manager and leadership team through a variety of tasks related to organizational projects, presentations and communications.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of administrative work experience
  • Ability to work and communicate with sensitive confidential information
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
  • Proficient in the use of computer software including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Strong work ethic, good judgment, and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

  • Support leadership team activities. This will include working with onsite and regional leadership, anticipating needs, maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base to assist with resolution of moderate to complex issues, adapting to rapidly shifting priorities and deadlines, managing multiple projects, preparing presentations, booking travel arrangements.
  • Serves as payroll support, including audits and assisting or advising employees with time clock or other payroll issues.
  • Other HR related responsibilities will include but may not be limited to assisting with scheduling interviews, organizing and maintaining hourly employee personnel files, organizing and coordinating new employee orientation, making verbal job offers, and scheduling pre-employment physical and drug screens.
  • General office management including processing and sorting mail, processing and managing complex invoices, expense reporting and billings, providing safety related support, coordinating and organizing site events such as meals, meetings, programs, etc., organizing and scheduling appointments and meetings, maintaining contact lists, greeting site visitors such as vendors and contractors, data entry and report generation such as daily site production reports.
  • Communicate clearly and credibly in both written and verbal forms about complex subject matter across all levels of employees. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and employee data. Communicate with plant manager and other leaders about progress of projects and other issues.
  • Adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Draft organization-wide and department emails, newsletters, announcements and other communications.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision and takes initiative to establish deadlines and prioritize work.
  • Performs job responsibilities as directed and completes tasks as assigned
