About The Position

As an Engineering Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Engineering and Maintenance teams by ensuring smooth daily operations through strong organization, communication, and administrative coordination. This position blends administrative responsibilities with cross-departmental collaboration to support projects, purchasing, payroll, and vendor relations. Requirements

  • Previous administrative, clerical, or office support experience (hospitality or engineering support preferred)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Engineering and Maintenance teams, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and documentation
  • Prepare and process purchase orders for materials, tools, and supplies
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of purchase orders, receipts, and vendor communications
  • Track and submit payroll for engineering staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal departments to support projects and resolve issues
  • Communicate professionally via phone, email, radio, and in person
  • Assist with compliance, reporting, and record-keeping for departmental operations
  • Support team operations as needed, including occasional on-site coordination
  • Identify and report potential safety or operational concerns
  • Represent the company with professionalism in appearance and communication
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
