About The Position

This position will provide administrative support for the SCS Integrated Grid Planning and APC Resource Planning departments. The successful candidate will be expected to work in multiple locations within the APC Headquarters and handle all aspects of administrative support for the two departments, including direct support for the department directors, managers, supervisors and their staff, as needed. In addition, the position will work with the executive assistants and other administrative assistants within the System Planning organization. The position will have a dual reporting relationship to the Integrated Resource Planning director and the APC Resource Planning director.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Two years of recent administrative experience supporting people including travel and meeting arrangements, expense and invoice processing, time keeping, and calendar management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience working in a corporate office setting

  • Demonstrated exceptional professional communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Secretarial/administrative certification (Certified Administrative Professional or similar) a plus
  • Experience working with all levels of management is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administer time reporting for the departments
  • Maintain office supplies and an orderly, safe work environment
  • Make travel arrangements for department directors and staff as needed
  • Process invoices and expense statements
  • Schedule meetings and make meeting arrangements such as room setup, managing invitations, and meal arrangements as needed
  • Provide calendar management and support for the department directors, proactively identifying conflicts and resolving with the directors as necessary
  • Serve as back up to other functional areas within System Planning when required
  • Other administrative items as identified or assigned
