About The Position

Auberle has evolved into a premier multi-service agency with programs spanning Workforce Development, Housing, Foster Care, Young Adult Services, and Behavioral Health. Auberle’s mission is to help build strong individuals, families, and communities. In 2019, Ward Home joined the Auberle family and has three programs in our Young Adult Services Department. The 412 Youth Zone is located in downtown Pittsburgh. The program provides comprehensive, welcoming, and youth driven services and support to young adults transitioning out of the foster care system or who are experiencing unstable housing.

Requirements

  • Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances required.
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Valid PA driver’s license, vehicle, registration, and proof of insurance may be required.
  • Technology skills are required including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Secretarial experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, youth, and community members, providing a welcoming and professional experience.
  • Respond to phone, email, and online inquiries, assess needs, and connect individuals with appropriate resources and services.
  • Coordinate and support the delivery of program services, referrals, and administrative processes.
  • Provide administrative support to program staff and leadership, including scheduling, correspondence, documentation, and other operational needs.
  • Maintain accurate program records, data, and files to support reporting, compliance, and evaluation.
  • Coordinate office operations, including mail, supplies, and general administrative functions.
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and implementation of program events, meetings, and staff activities.
  • Prepare and distribute program communications and materials, including calendars, newsletters, and other outreach content.
  • Develop and maintain staff schedules and support day-to-day operational coordination.
  • Assist with hiring and onboarding activities and other human resources administrative functions as assigned.
  • Provide basic technology support and coordinate with external IT vendors as needed.
  • Conduct research and complete special projects to support program initiatives and organizational priorities.
