About The Position

This position provides basic administrative and scheduling support for providers and disease teams within the Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplant Division. The role involves scheduling patient visits, communicating with patients and families, phone triage, basic registration, coordinating meetings, and handling inquiries. The Administrative Assistant will manage their work with basic guidance and address administrative and technical issues as they arise.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Requires 0-3+ years relevant experience; previous administrative experience preferred.
  • Requires basic proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

  • Provides basic administrative and scheduling support for providers and disease teams within the Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplant Division.
  • Provides scheduling support for patient visits for the Solid Tumor disease teams and patients.
  • Appointment scheduling, communicates with patients and families, phone triage, basic registration, coordinates meetings, handles inquires as appropriate.
  • Manages work with basic guidance and direction.
  • Addresses basic administrative and technical issues when they arise.
