Requirements

One year of prior office or customer service experience.
Customer service skills and the ability to work with the public.
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and maintain accuracy.
Computer skills using Microsoft Word, Teams, and Excel.

Responsibilities

Greet and screen all visitors.
Answer and direct telephone calls.
Maintain records and files as necessary for office operation.
Answer telephone inquiries, determining needs, and making appropriate referrals to Agency programs.
Greet and refer visitors or callers to appropriate staff and/or Agency programs.
Organize the food pantry and assist eligible clients with their food pantry visit.
Provide basic information for clients and refer them to outside local resources.
File and complete general office duties.
Perform other tasks assigned by the Area Center Site Coordinator.
Contribute to a positive participant experience and to the overall operation of the Area Resource Center.
