About The Position

Unity is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Hospice & Palliative Care team. This position provides administrative support to department leadership and clinical teams, helping coordinate daily operations, staff education and training, meetings, events, scheduling, and departmental tracking. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, managing multiple priorities, coordinating details, and supporting a team in meaningful work.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of administrative, project coordination, or office management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Ability to learn and work with various technology systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare, hospice, or nonprofit experience.
  • Experience with Epic, Relias/LMS, or scheduling software.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate staff trainings, webinars, conferences, and educational programs.
  • Support nursing fellowship, residency, preceptor education, and clinical student placement activities.
  • Maintain training records, CEUs, certifications, and related tracking.
  • Coordinate logistics for nursing and psychosocial skills fairs, retreats, appreciation events, and other department programs.
  • Assist with scheduling, room reservations, materials, food, supplies, registrations, and other event needs.
  • Manage calendars and scheduling for department leadership using Outlook and Teams.
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, meeting notes, and follow-up materials.
  • Assist with department newsletters, communications, and other informational materials.
  • Maintain spreadsheets, reports, employee information, and other departmental tracking.
  • Assist with purchasing, supplies, travel arrangements, and other administrative needs.
  • Provide front desk/greeter coverage and general support as needed.
