The Henry N.R. Jackman Faculty of Law is one of the oldest professional faculties at the University of Toronto, known for its rich academic programs, legal clinics, and public interest programs. It is housed in the Jackman Law Building, alongside Flavelle House and Falconer Hall, on the St. George Campus in downtown Toronto. The Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS) program, founded in 2005, is an award-winning initiative by the Henry N.R. Jackman Faculty of Law aimed at high school students facing barriers to postsecondary access. LAWS exposes participants to legal thinking and the justice system through workshops, mentorship, and employment programs. It is a partnership between Jackman Law, Osgoode Hall Law School at York University, and the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University, delivered in designated Toronto District School Board high schools. The incumbent will support program activities and provide administrative support under the general direction of the LAWS Director.
