The Administrative Assistant– Cabinets (Single Family) at Allied Interior Solutions is responsible for overseeing daily administrative operations for the cabinet department within single-family residential projects. This role supports scheduling, purchasing coordination, customer communication, and production tracking. The position ensures accurate documentation, timely communication, and efficient workflow between internal departments, vendors, builders, and customers. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership or team lead experience is preferred.
  • 3–5 years of administrative experience, preferably in construction, cabinetry, manufacturing, or homebuilding.
  • Experience with scheduling systems, ERP systems, or builder portals preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support administrative functions for the Cabinets Single Family department.
  • Coordinate scheduling for cabinet installations, deliveries, service calls, and inspections.
  • Serve as administrative contact for builders, vendors, superintendents, and internal departments.
  • Monitor project timelines and assist in ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Review work orders, purchase orders, invoices, and installation paperwork for accuracy.
  • Track cabinet orders, back-orders, change orders, and warranty/service requests.
  • Maintain organized project files, reports, and department documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and builders to resolve scheduling or service concerns.
  • Prepare reports related to production status, scheduling, and department performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with operations, warehouse, purchasing, and field teams to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety policies, and builder requirements.
  • Support department leadership with special projects and operational needs.
