About The Position

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant in Stryker, OH! This role will provide full administrative and clerical support for the Management Team and Operations of the facility. The Administrative Assistant will review and process customer orders as they are received to ensure customer needs are met in a timely and quality manner. The role also involves ordering and maintaining office supplies, creating purchase requisitions, maintaining customer and vendor files, scheduling meetings, and handling receiving paperwork. Basic SAP operations and an understanding of Hazmat rules and regulations are also part of the responsibilities. This position contributes to team success through varied tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years customer service or administrative experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel .. etc).
  • Ability to use Google Kite for email and file sharing.
  • Ability to clearly write and fill out reports and paperwork in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, safety data sheets and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow directions.
  • Ability to stand; use hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Ability to lift and or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to focus.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full administrative and clerical support for the Management Team and Operations of the facility.

  • Maintain customer and vendor files with care.

  • Perform basic SAP operations.
  • Understand Hazmat rules and regulations for placards, labels, etc.
  • Contribute to team success through varied tasks as needed.
