Christ the King Catholic Church in Corpus Christi, Texas, is seeking a part-time, highly organized, detail-oriented, and mission-driven Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support for the parish office. This individual serves as one of the first points of contact for parishioners and visitors and plays an essential role in supporting the pastoral mission of the Church through professional, efficient, and compassionate service. The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic in good standing, understands and respects the teachings and mission of the Catholic Church, maintains strict confidentiality, and demonstrates exceptional organizational and communication skills. The Diocesan Bishop is the visible principle and foundation of unity at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and School. In a unique and visible way, he makes Christ's mission present and enduring as the Shepherd of the Christian Community. In order to fulfill his mission, the Diocesan Bishop employs suitable, chosen collaborators, who are clerics, religious, and lay people. He shares with them the apostolic mission and entrusts various responsibilities to them. Each position employed in the Diocese of Corpus Christi helps to extend the ministry of the Diocesan Bishop in particular ways as outlined in the job duties and responsibilities. Therefore, this position is closely connected to and assists the Diocesan Bishop in the performance of his ministry and thereby engages in ministry for the church. When this is a full-time position, the employee is eligible for medical insurance and other benefits offered by the Diocese of Corpus Christi.
