About The Position

Ohel is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to support the team responsible for Government, Capital, and Foundation grants and contracts. The candidate will work closely with, and report to, Ohel’s Senior Grants Manager. This full-time position is based in Brooklyn.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced team environment, balance multiple projects to meet timelines and deadlines, and proactively manage workflow
  • Strong verbal, written, research, and communications skills
  • Superior organizational and follow-through skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external staff
  • Proficiency with Word, Adobe, Excel, Adobe Suite; project management platforms a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in a position with similar duties
  • Experience working in the non-profit sector; knowledge of government systems and processes a plus
  • Ability to work effectively independently

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct administrative support to Senior Grants Manager
  • Maintain accurate filing of grant/contract documentation
