About The Position

LUDVIK ELECTRIC seeks an Administrative Assistant for Project Management staff. This position is based at a job site. Candidates must have the ability to work independently and on a team. SUMMARY Provides administrative support service, either as part of a team or as an individual, for the construction department with maximum efficiency and accuracy in a professional manner. Will maintain a smooth flow of work in accordance with changing priorities, while coordinating and implementing office procedures and taking ownership of assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Operates general office equipment such as printers, copiers, scanners, or similar machines.
  • Creates, composes and edits written materials, requiring knowledge of construction terminology and document formats, from rough draft into final form utilizing (correct or proper) spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
  • Establishes, maintains, processes and/or oversees files, correspondence, and/or other project related documents according to company policy.
  • Performs a wide variety of other routine administrative tasks as assigned, such as transmittals, shipping and creating package slips, daily reports, panel schedules, labeling and laminating, coordinate supply order lists.
  • Completes and assembles operations and maintenance manuals.
  • Greets and directs visitors, answers incoming phone calls, checks for call-ins and sends out email notifications, providing information to callers and visitors.
  • Orders and picks up lunches as needed.
  • Manpower lists and magnetic name tags.
  • Seeks increased responsibilities and takes independent action.
  • Follows direction of Senior Project Manager and Project Coordinator for task assignments. Follows direction of V.P of Operations for policies, procedures, etc.
  • Assist with billing issues.
