About The Position

Southwest Human Development is Arizona’s largest nonprofit dedicated to early childhood development, focusing on the critical first five years of a child’s life. The organization offers over 40 programs and services to more than 140,000 children and their caregivers. This Administrative Assistant role provides essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the Quality First Coaching and Incentives program. Key responsibilities include coordinating purchasing activities, maintaining accurate records and data entry, and facilitating communication with vendors, staff, and community partners. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting high-quality program delivery. Requirements

  • High School diploma / GED
  • Two (2) years of experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiar with software platforms such as Abode and DocuSign
  • Previous experience with data entry and use of databases
  • Experience in balancing competing needs by prioritizing and responding to multiple tasks in an organized manner
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card - OR - must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • DES Criminal Affadavit Required
  • AZ DHS Criminal History Affidavit Required
  • FPC DPS Verification Required

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • Prior experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
