The Administrative Assistant provides clerical support to the assigned team, including front desk duties, filing, answering and transferring phone calls, data entry, scanning, scheduling, and various other customer service related functions. This role supports programs by organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and maintaining various administrative functions including accounting and budget records, client information, and triage/coordination program staff and clients. The position ensures high quality customer service for children, adults, families, and community members. A variety of clinical training opportunities are available based on program and interest. Centerstone is a nonprofit health system providing mental health and substance use disorder treatments nationally through outpatient clinics, residential programs, telehealth, and an inpatient hospital. They also feature specialized programs for the military community, therapeutic foster care, children’s services, and employee assistance programs. Centerstone’s Research Institute provides guidance through research and technology, leveraging best practices, and Centerstone’s Foundation secures philanthropic resources to support the mission.

Requirements

  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
  • Knowledge of community resources or willingness to learn.
  • Comfortable working with individuals with mental health or substance use concerns.
  • Enthusiastic about influencing positive change in our clients’ lives.
  • Accountable and self-directed with daily job duties.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides customer service duties to include answering phone calls, scheduling meetings/appointments, and supporting clients and visitors.
  • Completes clerical duties to include copying, scanning, faxing documents, navigating the electronic medical record, and maintaining filing system.
  • Provides additional administrative and clerical services as needed to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  • Completes all required agency trainings as to maintain 100% compliance.
