The Administrative Assistant helps keep HumanKind’s Richmond location organized, welcoming, and running smoothly. From greeting visitors and coordinating meeting spaces to supporting fleet, facilities, supplies, and technology needs, this role brings together a variety of administrative responsibilities that make a meaningful difference in the day-to-day experience of our teams. If you enjoy staying organized, helping others, and keeping things moving behind the scenes, this is an opportunity to play an important role in creating an efficient and supportive workplace.

Requirements

  • Valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record.
  • At least two years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products.
  • Ability to complete, pass, and maintain background check clearances.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a welcoming and professional experience for visitors, teammates, coworkers, supervisors, vendors, and other guests.
  • Keeping meeting rooms and fleet vehicles organized and scheduled so staff have access to the resources they need.
  • Supporting a safe, functional, and well-maintained workplace by coordinating maintenance, cleaning, technology, and equipment needs.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory of office and cleaning supplies and ensuring materials are available when needed.
  • Providing timely, flexible administrative support to Richmond programs and teams while handling financial transactions and other responsibilities accurately and confidentially.
