About The Position

The Administrative Assistant will have a broad set of responsibilities that range from supporting the Principal directly, to supporting the day-to-day operations of the larger School Leadership & Operations team. This position reports to the Principal. The staff of Challenge Preparatory School is committed to teaching scholars the values of scholarship, respect, honesty, courage, and balance in a collaborative technology-infused, inclusive family-like environment. It is the responsibility of the Administrative Assistant to manage the Principal’s calendar, including scheduling and coordinating meetings and school visits with school leaders, parents, and Network office leadership; liaise between the Principal and other staff within the organization, including high-level leadership; identify, prepare, and compile necessary materials to ensure the Principal has the appropriate information for meetings, reports, presentations, and special projects; format and proofread scholar-facing and leader-facing materials; schedule classroom teachers when members of the instructional team are absent; oversee any external providers and their programs within grade span; own and improve existing processes that support the School Leadership team; support the Principal with various ad-hoc projects and other administrative duties as needed; and perform other duties as assigned by the principal.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of administrative coordination experience in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Experience using Google Suite
  • Bachelor's Degree
