About The Position

The Arborist Assistant provides sales support through outbound sales calls, lead generation, proposal creation, appointment scheduling, and managing sales calendars. They are responsible for printing daily routes, handling client routing questions, posting routes, requesting additional stops for specialists, and managing fall-offs to ensure timely service delivery and high customer satisfaction. This role also involves delivering world-class customer service by answering incoming calls, maintaining positive client rapport, administering the customer database and files, completing paperwork, and offering general administrative and office support to Sales Arborists. Arborist Assistants will also participate in call monitoring and coaching for training and quality assurance.

Requirements

  • A desire to learn and grow within the business and Arboricultural industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
  • Previous success with outbound calling
  • An eye for excellence. Accuracy and attention to detail will be foundational to success
  • Must be authorized to lawfully work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet and Database systems desired (we will train you on our programs)
  • Experience with AR, AP, Payroll, HR, Benefits, multiline phone systems
  • 2+ years of experience in sales/marketing a plus
