About The Position

This role involves general clerical, receptionist, and project-based work, projecting a professional company image through in-person and phone interactions. The Administrative Assistant will answer telephones and transfer calls to the appropriate staff member.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of clerical related work experience.
  • Knowledge of professional communication skills, typing proficiency and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Demonstrated essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
  • Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet clients and visitors.
  • Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office.
  • Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
  • Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system.
  • Sign for and distribute UPS/Fed Ex/Airborne packages.
  • Schedule or coordinate meetings, interviews, events and other similar activities.
  • Support staff in assigned project based work in a team-oriented environment or independently.
  • Utilize organization, time-management and problem solving skills to perform work efficiently and effectively.
  • Research, price, and purchase office supplies.
  • Maintain customer information.
  • Order uniforms and invoice employees.
  • Occasionally drive and run local errands as requested.
  • Cross-train and substitute for other administrative positions.
  • Pick up/drop off local products or materials by request.
  • Follow GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
