The Undersea Technology Portfolio, within SPA's Sea, Land, & Air Division, conducts rigorous and objective analyses to enable the Navy and other DoD organizations to make decisions, plans, and strategies to deliver emerging undersea technologies and warfighting capabilities. We support clients across the undersea and naval special warfare enterprises, including those within resourcing and requirements, acquisition, and science and technology. SPA is seeking an Administrative Assistant in support of NAVSEA's Naval Special Warfare Program Office.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of administrative or office support experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and standard office tools
  • Active DoD Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting DoD, Navy, or government program offices
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Familiarity with scheduling, correspondence management, and basic document control practices

Responsibilities

  • managing schedules by maintaining calendars, setting appointments, responding to invitations, and keeping managers updated on evolving situations
  • arranging travel and assisting with the setup of scheduled meetings
  • preparing and coordinating office communications, memoranda, and correspondence
  • maintaining electronic files, databases, and business unit calendars
  • preparing presentations, reports, and large documents when necessary
  • coordinating audits of classified hard drives, handling classified materials, and preparing for meetings
  • maintaining contract, personnel, or financial files and reports
  • reporting to a designated work location, up to full-time.
