About The Position

Keeps official records and executes administrative policies determined by or in conjunction with other officials by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

  • Screens incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently when possible.
  • Arranges programs, events, or conferences by arranging for facilities and caterer, issuing information or invitations, coordinating speakers, and controlling event budget.
  • Directs preparation and distribution of records such as student forms, meeting minutes, and faculty proposals.
  • Assists faculty with advising, graduation checks, grading, and other duties as assigned.
  • Oversees purchasing procedures within the college of business and prepares reports on outstanding expenses.
  • Schedules and trains student workers to work the A/V equipment in Ayers Auditorium.
  • Prepares newsletters and weekly bulletins to keep students informed about events, deadlines, and job opportunities.
  • Arranges travel plans and itineraries, compiles documents for travel-related meetings.
