DaVita is seeking an Administrative Assistant for its Hospital Services team. This role involves being the 'face' of an outpatient or hospital facility, utilizing administrative skills to positively impact patients and their families. Requirements

  • Administrative experience with responsibility for scheduling and managing hospital‑submitted orders
  • Minimum 1 year of administrative experience in a medical setting
  • Experience with hospital scheduling and submitted orders
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong computer and clerical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook & Excel
  • Ability to type 60 WPM
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in this program, which may include a booster when eligible

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish fluency
  • Dialysis or hospital experience
  • Medical secretary or secretarial certification

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of change requisitions, treatment logs, patient charts, invoices and purchase orders
  • Assist patients with transportation arrangements and physician appointments
