The Administrative Assistant will provide visible and active leadership in delivering excellent safety results and actively participate in the facilities safety observation program. This role performs recordkeeping for all required documentation per IP record retention policy and regulatory requirements, and manages hourly work schedules/payroll practices and attendance reporting. The position provides clerical support for the office and production team, coordinates records retention for the department, and participates in SharePoint maintenance. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant assists in managing general building maintenance by coordinating with maintenance and housekeeping, and supports meetings by ordering meals, coordinating meeting locations, and tracking equipment. The role also arranges for company business lunches, makes travel arrangements for managers and staff, and coordinates mail service needs for the department. The Administrative Assistant orders and maintains office supplies, enters purchase requisitions, generates check requests, and updates procedures and policies as requested. The role also seeks out and implements best practices using teams, databases, vendors, and other resources, and performs any other duties related to the position as directed by managers or requested by staff.
