About The Position

Riverbend Community Mental Health is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and service-focused Administrative Assistant to join our Administration Team. This role is more than a reception or clerical position; it's an important part of the infrastructure that keeps a complex behavioral health organization moving. You will work closely with Finance, Human Resources, Training, Senior Leadership, and other Administrative teams, gaining broad exposure to the operations of a mission-driven behavioral health organization. Your work will touch many areas, from supporting new employees and clinical credentialing to assisting various departments. Your work will directly support the teams providing essential behavioral health and community-based services throughout our region.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two (2) years of general office experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Word and PowerPoint is required.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with attention to detail is required.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Credentialing experience preferred.
  • Strong technical skills are required.
  • A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance with minimum coverage of 100,00/300,00 are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional reception and administrative support for Riverbend’s Administration Team.
  • Support Finance, Human Resources, Training, and Clinical Credentialing with records, scheduling, onboarding, reporting, and other administrative needs.
  • Coordinate office operations, including mail, supplies, building access, conference rooms, and agency materials.
  • Maintain accurate employee, training, credentialing, and organizational records.
  • Support the agency Intranet, staff communications, employee engagement activities, and special projects.
  • Provide administrative support to Senior Leadership and Executive Assistants as needed.
  • Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional workplace environment.
