About The Position

The Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics is a world-class program focused on transforming the understanding of mental health through data organization, integration, analysis, visualization, and modeling across all levels of the brain. This multimodal data is gathered from clinical environments, including genetic, epigenetic, MRI, DTI, fMRI, hd-EEG, actigraphy, and electronic medical record data. Teams will utilize advanced techniques such as topological data analysis, machine learning, and multiscale computational modeling to expedite the identification and treatment of mental health disorders. The research environment is collaborative, emphasizing reproducible, data-driven research and a patient-centric approach, with a strong focus on global collaboration. The centre also serves as an incubator for medical technologies aimed at identifying, managing, and treating mental illness, while influencing national and global policy. We are looking for an experienced and highly organized full-time, permanent Administrative Assistant to offer comprehensive support to our Directors and a team of Independent Scientists within a dynamic research and academic setting. This position is crucial for maintaining the efficiency of administrative operations and coordinating with various internal departments, including Finance, HR, Legal, Research Finance, Research Education, and the Research Services Office, to ensure compliance with CAMH administrative procedures and standards. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to Directors and a team of Independent Scientists.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of administrative functions within a dynamic research and academic setting.
  • Coordinate with various internal departments, including Finance, HR, Legal, Research Finance, Research Education, and the Research Services Office.
  • Align administrative activities with CAMH administrative processes and requirements.
