About The Position

IMEG is growing, and we’d love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant in our Naperville, IL office. As an Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support for assigned engineering teams and completing day-to-day administrative tasks. Additionally, this position will demonstrate proficiency at using and reviewing IMEG standard document templates. This position will be expected to work within the team’s monetary budget as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing Administrative Support for Engineering Teams as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum six months experience in administrative field required
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work with staff of all levels
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service orientation coupled with the ability to exhibit and maintain a positive attitude
  • Team player but also able to work on own initiative
  • Self-motivated and flexible
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
  • familiarity with Engineering preferred

Responsibilities

  • Follow and promote IMEG Standards
  • Assist assigned team and other teams as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of project/client, corporate, and employee matters
  • Work with engineering specifications
  • Attend and actively contribute to group meetings
  • Serve as back up for mail and telephone duties for the Receptionist as needed
  • Participate in team’s Administrative Team Advancement Program (TAP)
  • Arrange meetings, tasks, travel as needed for team/office
  • Other duties as assigned by employer
