WHO WE ARE The Law Society is a global professional organization of volunteer attorneys and current law students operated by an International Board, volunteer leaders at the local, area and international levels, and a paid Management team. The Law Society has over 14,000 members in more than 240 attorney and student chapters located in 46 countries. WHAT WE DO The mission of the Law Society is to: (1) support attorneys and law students of faith to apply their religious beliefs in their law practice and legal studies; (2) encourage members to provide pro bono legal services to vulnerable populations; and (3) promote fairness and virtue founded upon the rule of law. Founded in 1988, the Law Society is based at the BYU Law School and serves attorneys, judges and law students from various faiths and law schools to defend religious freedom and moral values; serve the vulnerable in communities around the world through pro bono legal service and humanitarian service; and uphold the rule of law and principles of constitutionalism. WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS POSITION The JRCLS Administrative Assistant principally provides administrative support to the Law Society’s Management Team, Law Society leadership, and guests of Law Society events.
