Requirements

  • 7+ years of administrative experience with a proven ability to work independently.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and your own vehicle for office rotation. This will be reimbursed.
  • Rapid mastery of new skills and concepts
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  • Must have excellent time management skills, and ability to coordinate with all levels of staff and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong proof reading, editing and grammar skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or higher with business related degree is preferred. Relevant years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Background in the professional services industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior level administrative support for our Survey Department leaders and programs within a civil engineering and design firm.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new office and field staff.
  • Make travel arrangements and conference reservations as needed.
  • Support vehicle operations and maintain records.
  • New project set up: Prepare presentations, correspondence, and reports.
  • Respond to inquiries and informational requests.
  • Report to Houston and Katy offices for on-site support – schedule to be determine (mileage reimbursement included)
  • Process project documents including but not limited to scanning, creating document records in the management system, routing and distribution, and filing (electronic and hardcopy)
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and prudence.
  • Other duties as assigned.
