About The Position

This position requires a TS/SCI. The Administrative Assistant V provides executive-level administrative support to the Chief of Protocol and S/CPR leadership. This position coordinates complex administrative activities, executive calendars, meetings, travel, correspondence, briefings, reports, and official engagements. The Administrative Assistant V handles sensitive and confidential information, supports operational planning and protocol activities, and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of S/CPR mission requirements.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience providing administrative support to senior executives, leadership teams, or complex organizations.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related administrative tools.
  • Experience preparing executive correspondence, reports, briefings, and presentation materials.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to coordinate meetings, events, travel, and administrative activities involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive-level administrative support to the Chief of Protocol and S/CPR leadership.
  • Manage and coordinate calendars, meetings, conferences, briefings, and official engagements.
  • Schedule and coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including preparation of travel documentation and related administrative requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and format correspondence, memoranda, briefings, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other executive-level documents.
  • Collect, review, analyze, and summarize complex and/or sensitive information to support decision-making and operational planning.
  • Develop and maintain reports, tracking tools, charts, budget documents, and presentation materials.
  • Respond to, coordinate, or appropriately route priority, sensitive, and confidential inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Draft correspondence and communications on behalf of S/CPR leadership as directed.
  • Support planning and execution of protocol events, meetings, official functions, and office activities.
  • Maintain administrative records, files, databases, and documentation in accordance with Department policies and procedures.
  • Track office actions, deadlines, deliverables, and follow-up items to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with internal Department offices, external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to support S/CPR requirements.
  • Assist with workload planning and may provide guidance or direction to other administrative support personnel as required.
  • Utilize advanced word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, and analytical software applications to complete assigned tasks.
  • Perform other related administrative duties as assigned in support of S/CPR mission requirements.
