Perform a variety of complex clerical, technical, and administrative duties to maintain the effective and efficient operation of the Division. Independently plan and coordinate executive support functions for the Division Chief; protect the confidentiality of HCS issues, stakeholder records, and District information. With minimum supervision, perform experienced clerical, technical, and administrative duties, including special projects, special program activities, managing calendars, data entry, record keeping, records research, and document processing; assure compliance with financial and legal requirements, and HCS policies and procedures; duties may vary according to job assignment. Support the relationship between HCS and the general public by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with stakeholders, visitors, and District staff. Assist in preparing and maintaining the Division’s budget; create spreadsheets, monitor revenue and expenditures. Receive and respond to inquiries and concerns from the public; refer problems to the appropriate staff person for resolution. Interact and communicate effectively with various groups and individuals such as the immediate supervisor, Superintendent, other District administrators and staff, school administrators and staff, co-workers, students, parents, outside government/business/community agencies, sales representatives, service/repair persons, and the general public. Lead and support other clerical staff, as assigned. Perform various clerical duties such as scheduling, answering phones, and assisting visitors. Provide exceptional customer service on a daily basis and maintain professional practices. Perform other duties as assigned.
