About The Position

The Administrative Assistant is directly accountable to the Director's of Integrated Northern Health Primary Health Care Network 1 & Mental Health & Addictions to provide confidential administrative support. This position supports, and contributes to, processes and practices to ensure the efficient operation of the portfolio(s), through accurate, timely and efficient execution of administrative support functions. The incumbent works closely, in a collaborative and cooperative manner, with all members of the administrative team to assist in accomplishing the Saskatchewan Health Authority's objectives. The incumbent co-ordinates workflow with other administration support staff and, in their absence, may provide support services as requested.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a senior administrative assistant-type role.
  • Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by a recognized business course.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, scheduling & training platforms.
  • Ability to adapt to frequent change and work under pressure.
  • Demonstrated approaches to problem solving with strong decision-making capability.
  • Ability to work collegially, collaboratively and build positive relationships.
  • Excellent proficiency in editing material for clarity, accuracy and conciseness.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare system in Saskatchewan.
  • Knowledge of First Nations and Metis history in Saskatchewan.
  • Knowledge & experience in minute taking & synthesizing information.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, independent judgment & organizational skills.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Support and contribute to processes and practices for the efficient operation of the portfolio(s).
  • Execute administrative support functions accurately, timely, and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with all members of the administrative team to assist in accomplishing the Saskatchewan Health Authority's objectives.
  • Coordinate workflow with other administration support staff.
  • Provide support services as requested in the absence of other administration support staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality, including confidential information with discretion.
