The Administrative Assistant, Sales (12 Month Term) is responsible for assisting the sales and service team’s in its operation by performing the various administrative tasks related to the role and growth of business. Requirements

  • Diploma of Professional Studies (DEP) in Secretarial Studies or Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Office Automation Techniques, or college equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in administrative and/or office support, Group Insurance experience is preferred.
  • Fully bilingual (French/English): English proficiency is required to perform the duties of the role, which include daily collaboration with teams and partners outside Québec who operate primarily in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint)

  • Outside the box thinking to find new and unique ways to present data and documentation to sales, clients and internal stakeholders/partners

Nice To Haves

  • Group Insurance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Sales and Service Teams with the processing of revisions, agent of record changes, reporting, mail merges and ID cards, booklet, and invoice requests.
  • Review and submit all new business documentation through a master application process for installation. (Quebec market only).
  • Manage general email boxes by responding to client and advisor inquiries pertaining to plan design, claims, etc.
  • Participate in working groups while collaborating with various areas of the organization to help provide efficiencies and accuracy of information.
  • Proactively looking at ways to streamline processes within the Sales/Service environment and clients.
