About The Position

RBC PH&N Investment Counsel (“RBC PH&N IC”) is one of Canada’s leading boutique investment counselling firms with investment professionals nationwide acting exclusively for high-net-worth clients and small business owners. We provide clients with discretionary investment management and privileged access to the expertise of our RBC Wealth Management Services team which includes highly accredited lawyers, accountants, and financial planning specialists. The RBC PH&N Investment Counsel team located in downtown Vancouver (Royal Center), is looking for an enthusiastic and organized Receptionist to join their dynamic team. As the Receptionist for RBC PH&N IC, you will be the initial point of contact for our downtown Vancouver office, and be responsible for greeting and receiving clients, guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner. As a valued member of our team, you will also assist with catering and other administrative duties as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role in the Investment Industry.
  • Prior receptionist experience in a professional and high profile office environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Be able to work under high pressure.
  • Exceptional communication verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • University Degree
  • Securities industry experience an asset

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all clients and staff is attended to in a highly professional, efficient and courteous manner.
  • Become one of the main points of contact for day-to-day technology and premises troubleshooting.
  • Liaise with appropriate functional departments to minimize client and staff disruption.
  • Help manage incoming communications from clients, Investment Counsellors and other internal and external partners.
  • Contribute to team by assisting with coordinating any staff functions.
  • Complete expense reports for Counsellors and order courier supplies, maintain access card log list for audit purposes, order marketing material for the office.
  • Scheduling team events.
  • Order office supplies.
  • Various other duties and projects as assigned by the Manager, Practice Enablement.
