About The Position

Position Summary: The Administrative Assistant - Legal & Compliance supports legal staff by performing daily administrative tasks, document filing, and intake of publications, product advertisements, and literature reviews. Assists in communicating attorneys legal recommendations or requests to internal departments when required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma; Bachelors degree preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in an administrative role or legal assistance with Senior Level Executives
  • Or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training
  • Proficient use of MS Office Products
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and judgment

Responsibilities

  • Performs administrative tasks including the drafting of email correspondence, letters, agreements, spreadsheets, agenda, memoranda, addenda; as well as scheduling meeting requests and appointments
  • Pre-reviews and prepares for attorney review product claims, advertisements, and various other documents to ensure adherence to company standards and pertinent regulations
  • Proofreads various documents to ensure accuracy prior to attorney review
  • Maintains multiple spreadsheets to track or summarize various projects or tasks
  • Primarily responsible for legal department role in intercompany JIRA and workflow system
  • Complies with company policies and procedures
  • Assisting Senior Executives
  • Performs other duties as needed
