About The Position

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking an Administrative Assistant III who works under the supervision of a higher authority. In this position, you will complete special projects as requested by the Deputy Warden, research and respond to public inquiries, draft and compose letters for the Deputy Warden’s signature, and complete, research, and prepare responses to inmate letters at the Arizona State Prison Complex (ASPC) - Red Rock Correctional Center in Eloy, Arizona.   • Must complete all required driver training and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks
  • Must maintain acceptable driving records
  • Must maintain statutorily required liability insurance if operating a personally owned vehicle on state business
  • Must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify)

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) years of administrative experience
  • Computer skills using Microsoft and Google products

Responsibilities

  • Researches, and compiles reports, letters, and inquiries
  • Screens, routes calls, and maintains files as well as other duties as assigned
  • Attends meetings, and compiles minutes
  • Maintains calendar, office equipment, and supplies
  • Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
  • Drives on State business
