Administrative Assistant III General Description and Classification Standards: The purpose of this position is to provide advanced administrative and clerical support to the Department of Human Resources Benefits Division, ensuring efficient office operations and the delivery of high-quality customer service. The Administrative Assistant III performs a wide range of specialized duties, including project coordination, data management, and preparation of departmental reports. This position may supervise administrative support staff, temporary employees, or interns. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education & Experience 1. High school diploma or GED 2. 3–5 years of progressively responsible secretarial, clerical, or administrative experience. Preferred Education & Experience Associate’s degree in business/public administration, secretarial science, or related field. 5 or more years of administrative experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
