This position is responsible for coordinating Pcard charges, reimbursements, and Travel in UF’s system. Tasks may include creating a Travel Authorization, making reservations, assessing transportation needs and other arrangements as needed, collecting required documentation, preparing and resolving issues with Expense Reports, and processing student reimbursements. The role also assists with acquiring and renewing software, subscriptions, data, and service agreements for the WCB, acting as a liaison between suppliers and UF’s Procurement office. Additionally, the position assists with the payment of college items and unit needs supported by ITO, including processing invoices and resolving issues. The Administrative Assistant II supports the Print & Mail Shop Manager during heavy workload periods, providing services such as photocopying, assisting with large projects, processing exam scantrons, receiving packages, and distributing mail. The role also assists with the college’s Asset Management, ensuring new qualifying items are processed, assisting with IT device disposal requests, and aiding with the annual accounting of the college’s inventory. The ideal candidate is expected to function independently, meeting with the supervisor to set priorities and resolve problems as needed.
